Chronology
In Karate Kid: Legends, after a family tragedy, kung fu prodigy Li Fong (Ben Wang) is uprooted from his Beijing home and forced to move to New York with his mother. Li struggles to put his past behind him as he tries to fit in with his new classmates, and although he doesn’t want to fight, trouble seems to find him everywhere. When a new friend needs his help, Li enters a kung fu competition, but his skills are not enough. Li’s kung fu master, Mr. Han (Jackie Chan), recruits Karate Kid Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) to help him, and Li learns a new way of fighting, fusing his two styles into one to face off against the Ultimate Martial Arts.
