John Dutton (Kevin Costner) often seems to “forget”; his Montanan accent and reverts to the SoCal speaking voice he usually uses. I live in Derby, MT where most of it is filmed – just yesterday they were filming right across the street from me in a field with some horses and cattle.
I’ll admit, it’s nice to see them filming
I believe the show is a pretty solid story and is in the niche where Costner does his best. One thing I noticed about the first season, with my half Native American side, is that it makes you wonder who the good guys are and the bad guys—maybe both sides are both good and bad.
